Despite the recent political turmoil and uncertainty that is being widely reported on a daily basis, we've been pleasantly surprised to see that the market seems to have woken up in January with a strong number of new clients registering with a view to both buying and selling. We've managed to agree quite a few sales considering that January is traditionally one of the much quieter months of the year as well as seeing some exchanges and completions on sales that we had agreed in the last quarter. All in all positive stuff. This does bode well for the coming months and we are continually being called to appraise some lovely homes so keep an eye on our website for anything that may get you thinking about that big move.

It genuinely feels that many applicants and vendors have got to a point with the Brexit uncertainty where they have gone past worrying about what could or couldn't happen and just want to get on with their lives. EU or not, people will still need to upsize, downsize, relocate or invest for the long term. Of course it's sensible to be cautious but come what may, live does go on.

Anyway, if we can help and you are seeking some friendly advice, please come and see us at our offices, drop us an email or even give us a good old fashioned phone call. We'll be pleased to hear from you.
